The City of Manor strives to promote Community spirit through the preservation of our unique character and heritage, while fostering a dynamic economic environment.  The City of Manor is a home-rule city which operates as a Council-Mayor form of government.  Manor’s governing body is comprised of six council members and the mayor who are elected at-large by place.  The City Council meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month beginning at 7pm at City Hall. For more information, please call (512) 272-5555.                                                           ****************************************************                                                Leadership Manor Is Accepting Applications for its Second Session Leadership Manor is a program which identifies and develops talented and committed citizens who aspire to provide leadership in Manor’s business and community activities.  The program develops leaders by providing quality, relevant leadership skills and training to meet the dynamic needs of the community.  The sessions explain the essential roles of Manor’s governmental, educational, economic and cultural organizations The program is open to anyone who either lives or works in Manor.  The meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month for nine months and class times are 8am to 5pm.  These times may be adjusted.  Tuition for the program is $250 which includes polo shirts, monthly lunches, fieldtrip transportation costs and notebooks.  Tuition must be paid at the time of acceptance and the class size is limited to 15 participants.  You must be 21 years or age or older.  The application deadline is July 9th at 5pm.  For more information about the program, please contact Debbie Charbonneau, Heritage & Tourism Manager at
