Ribbon cutting ceremonies were held for Senior Access TX on June 27 to introduce the organization to Manor. Senior Access serves Round Rock, Pflugerville, Hutto, East Austin and now Manor as of July 1. Senior Access connects volunteer drivers with seniors needing a way to get around. A weekly van route to the Manor Walmart is planned for Mondays.
Services include transportation, minor household repairs, assistance with forms, personal visits and phone calls. Volunteers are in high demand if you would like to volunteer or to schedule an appointment for intake services, please call (512) 310-1060.

Come join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 27 at 10:30am for Senior Access TX a non profit organization that will begin senior ride services in Manor starting on July1st. There will also be a fixed van route going to Walmart every Monday.
Since an office has not yet been established in Manor, we will meet at the pavilion at Jennie Lane Park - 104 East Rector Street for the ceremony. Refreshments provided!

Manor Lions Club Fish Fry - Friday, June 7. Serving time is 5:30pm to 8pm at the Lions Hall - 429 West Parsons Street. The hall is located about a block west of the Manor Fire Station. Plates are $9 and "to go" plates also available.
Desserts also available for purchase.
Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund and other community projects sponsored by the Lions Club.

On Wednesday, May 29, the City of Manor officially dedicated the new Timmerman Park which is located on 22 acres between FM 973 North and Old Highway 20. Attendees included City of Manor staff members, members of the Manor City Council, members of the Barth Timmerman family and residents of the Manor Community.
The city began discussions with Timmerman who owns Greenview Development Corporation back in 2000 about including a park site with the commerical and residential portions of the area. Since 2000, Greenview Development has contributed $800,000 worth of services in clearing and preparing the site for the park.
